THE lOST BABIES SERIES, by M.Kay Howell
 
This is a charming adventure series for both boys and girls, ages 7 through 12, with an occasional 6 year old who reads really well. Each of the books is a stand alone story but the three continue in a compelling adventure. The children encounter gnomes, ogres and insects as large as they are.These books have wholesome family values and good moral lessons.
 
THE RUBY HIND, by M.Kay Howell

The first in the series of THE LOST BABIES, it tells of Sylvan, an orphan, who runs away to find her family and finds that she is a fairy princess. Through the series she and her three brother find other missing children and return them to the fairy kingdom. In THE RUBY HIND Sylvan finds that she has a wonderful and exciting extended family and learns about the ways of the fairy world.


TOO MANY PARENTS  by M.Kay Howell

In the second of the series of THE LOST BABIES, the children encounter the big gray spider and take on the ogre to rescue a child lost from the fairy kingdom.
